Berry Fun Template Set 12

Well the first week of summer wasn't exactly what my kids expected. It's been so cool! They've been expecting swimming, splash parks, slip-n-slides, lots of wet. But we've had to replace those with trips to the park, park, and park (all different parks though). It's been nice and relaxing, but not too boring. Just enough activity to keep them busy, but not bug me every two minutes about what we are doing next!

It's been awhile since I talked about my scrapbooking goals. Probably because I've fallen a bit behind! I didn't do too well in April and May, but I DID scrap so kudos to me for doing a little. I heard on the radio the other day that goals aren't meant to be met perfectly but to move us along farther than if we didn't set them! And I think I was motivated to scrap a little because of my goal to scrap 6 events per month. Well since I fell behind, I've bumped up my goal to 7 events per month. And I can do it! I'm trying to scrap more simply so that I get more done faster. I like a simple look anyways, because I want the focus to be on my photos. I'm off to a good start this month, so I'll check in again next month and see how I did!

Here's a page I just did using my Looking for Rainbows Kit (with a few colors changed!). What a special day this was!

Ahh, last day of school for my kids! I love not having any homework, sleeping in (but not too late), being able to workout as soon as I get up and not having to worry about getting kids ready or making lunches, going to the beach, going swimming, and enjoying California summers!

And here's the gift I was working on, but framed. I made one for her cousin too, who was getting baptized the same day! They actually had the same due date but ended up being almost 3 weeks apart. My daughter came two weeks early and my nephew came like 5 days late!

I've also been painting a backdrop for my daughter's second grade play. Wow that has been fun, time consuming, and tiring! Here are some not too great pics from my phone. These are 3 queen size sheets.

I am also working on some paintings for my sister-in-law, who is having her first baby! But I can't show those until I give them to her! I am getting the itch to get back to some scrapbooking and designing though, so look out for some new stuff soon!

NEW Template Sets

I've been out of town, but I do have a new set of templates in the store! I had so much fun with some girlfriends with much R&R. Well I take that back, I came back very tired with little sleep but we had a super fun, spiritual, reflective couple of days together. But it was so good to come back home to my kids' excitement and love. I've never left them that long by myself, just with my husband. Even then, we've never left them for toooo long. My husband is usually the one that has to go on a business trip or a church trip or something. It felt weird to leave, but I came back rejuvenated!
